Shy, Stunning, Unique- Meet Daisy. She was rescued from a shelter in NC when she was too shy for anyone to consider her for adoption. Of course that only means a matter of four days that they are available and time is up. Dogs hidden in the corner of their kennels - too shy to respond to possible adopters never make it out of the shelters. But Daisy caught out eye...the look in her eyes showed a beautiful girl who was just afraid of where he life had taken her.

Spayed, brought current on all vaccines, microchipped and heart worm negative, our Daisy is currently being fostered in NH. She needs a patient, non threatening and gentle leader. She is smart and is learning from her foster mom things that will make her a great pet for someone someday and a great companion.

About Diamond Dogs Rescue Inc - NJ Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

Our rescue focus is on adult dogs from the southeast that are in high kill shelters. Our plan is to fully vet as needed, evaluate and train as needed in preparation for adoption. We place our rescues in a foster home setting to prepare our dogs for a home of their own and to determine the best match for that rescue. Please keep in mind that a rescues are located in foster homes up the east coast. They can be transported to their forever home

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our dogs are all in foster care throughout NJ , and New England and various other locations. We do NOT have a physical location for your to visit our dogs, They are seen by appointment in foster homes.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an application to be filled out by all adopters. We require 3 references plus a vet reference as well as a home visit.Once you have been approved for adoption by filling out an application completing a home visit and having your references checked, we will put you in touch with the foster to meet the dog with your family. Sometimes we will do a home visit and bring the dog to the home visit after your application is approved.

Our adoption fee is $300 for adult dogs, unaltered pups under 6 months require an additional $50 "refundable" spay/neuter contract fee.
