Copper's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Copper's Story...
Copper is around 4 years old and crate trained. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccines and is heartworm free. He does well with other large dogs but his Foster Mom would suggest a home without other small dogs or cats. He hasn't hurt anyone but he shows a lot of interest in the smaller pets around the house. He is getting better on the leash and working on basic commands.

Please let us know if you would like to meet Copper.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Copper, a Hopkinsville Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Hopkinsville, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Hopkinsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hopkinsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hopkinsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hopkinsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
