Grace's Story...
Hi, my name is Gracie or Grace Bug! My foster mom says I am so sweet, that I love to give kisses and am a sweet snuggler! She says, I am also a quick learner too...I'm seven months old and I know how to sit and learning to shake. Yay me!! I am also learning to spin around before my mommy gives me my food. She says I am also very good with children of all ages as I do not jump or roughhouse with them. I also love kitty cats, they are fun to play with. My foster mom has been taking me on walks on a leash and she says I'm doing great. She is still being very patient with me working on house/potty training. As long as she reminds me that I need to go outside, I won't potty in the house. At night time, I love going in my crate (if you give me a treat) and I will sleep all night. When my foster mom rescued me from a local shelter, I wasn't doing very good but we will talk more later about that. I am up-to-date on all my vaccinations, I am spayed, heartworm negative and on preventative. When my foster mommy got me, I had a huge infection in one of my eyes but she has me on something called eyedrops. It's looking better, but sometimes it may wander a little but that's OK because my foster mommy says, I'm so cute. I love love playing with all of my toys, especially stuffed animals or anything that has a squeaking noise. I would love to find a new family that can be home with me and continue to teach me so I can be the bestest ever! I also would love a home with kids and a furry friend to play with. The vet says I am a Boxador (must be the cute wrinkles) and I will be medium in size when I grow up! If you are looking for a forever faithful companion, I am your girl! Love and kisses, Gracie

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grace, a Austin Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
