While we don't charge a fee to submit an application we can understand why some rescues do. A lot of time is spent reviewing applications. Time that can be spent caring for the dogs. To do all that only to be told that you now aren't ready or have changed your mind is time consuming. Please read all info posted about the dogs and if we say the dogs needs a fenced yard and you don't have one please don't proceed. We also don't adopt out to home with INVISIBLE/SHOCK FENCING and can provide you some info if you would like to understand why we feel this way. Because these are rescued dogs we don't usually know who the parents are so breed listings are usually an educated guess. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE A LIFETIME COMMITMENT TO THIS PET. Chimama is a 2 year old Chihuahua that weighs only 5 pounds. She is so petite I put a vest on her to prevent her from squeezing thru the fence when we are outside. She was found as a stray along with her babies in a place where Chihuahua's are so plentiful they are the second highest in euth rates behind PitBulls. What a sad scenario for both breeds.She is now safe here with us and looking for a home. She is currently living with a lot of other dogs at her rescue but she can get jealous if she wants a moment with you to herself. We think she is the prettiest little girl with a shiny jet black coat and big dark eyes. Her adoption fee is $250.00 and she will be spayed and microchipped before adoption.
