Maggie's Story...
Maggie is a beautiful 11 year old -- 5-6 lbs Pom who was owner surrendered to us when they could no longer care for them! She's a super sweet girl or wants all attention! She's ok with other dogs but would prefer to have all the attention to herself! She will chase cats but not try to hurt them! She loves to be held and cuddled! She recently had a mammary tumor removed. She's utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and spayed!

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Grand Bay Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
