Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Loretta is a very beautiful Lady. Who knows what stories she might tell about her life if she could talk. All we know is that she is about 8 years old, healthy, sweet and gentle. Oh, and a canned food junkie! No one is perfect! Loretta was spayed at a outdoor cat clinic. Ears are always tipped as hers is. She was virtually abandoned for some unknown reason. Her owner had to hastily move and begged a neighbor to take her to hand her off to a new owner. This new owner, unfortunately did not exist, the lady was long gone and Loretta's helper was very allergic to cats. If a place for Loretta could not be found quickly, she would have to go to a kill shelter. By chance a young girl at the Canyon Lake Animal Shelter thought to call us and we had room. Loretta has never been a bit of trouble in the time she has been here, she stepped out of her carrier and felt at home. She is a wonderful gal and would happily share her love with you
C.A.T. Rescue is not a shelter, we are foster based. We showcase our adoptable pets at adoption events most weekends at many locations such as PetSmart Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels. Tractor Supply Bulverde, Earth Angels San Marcos, etc. Visit and like our Facebook page for event schedules or contact us at CatAlliesofTexas@gmail.com.
Cat Allies of Texas Rescues' mission is focused on cats of Comal county. Our vision is to keep cats out of shelters, place adoptable cats and kittens in a home, reduce stray and feral populations through TNR. Help colony caregivers manage and care for their cats. C.A.T. Rescue will offer, when possible, humane assistance to all animals in need.
