LULU's Story...
LULU
Beautiful Lulu is a 3 year old female Husky. Lulu came into our care after her owner intended to leave her behind when he left his job in a northern community to return to Winnipeg. Thankfully a kind-hearted co-worker didn't want to see her abandoned and brought her to town! Lulu is described as very sweet and loving with people and good with most other dogs.

Lulu is not yet available for adoption but should be shortly. We will post more photos and information very soon. For more information, please email our adoption coordinator at: adopt@masrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LULU, a Winnipeg Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Winnipeg, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Winnipeg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winnipeg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winnipeg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winnipeg paves the way for another one to be saved.
