Madee's Story...
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Madee.

This sweet girl is about 2 years old and 60lbs.

She walks fairly well on a leash and doesn't run off. She will try to pull but she gets back in line with a little tug. She loves to ride in the care. Madee jumps in the truck ready to go!

She loves to sleep in a dog bed under a window. Madee is shy at first to people and other dogs.

Madee loves to be cuddled! She will come up and put her chin on her foster mom's lap to rub her head. She is very playful and loves to be outdoors.

She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply for her at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madee, a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
