Opie's Info...

Opie's Story...
This tiny little fella is part of our Sons of Anarchy litter!

We saved Opie and his 4 brothers (5 week old lab mix pups) via our rescue partner in Puerto Rico, from dead dog beach where their mother was found deceased. We transported them to NYC with the promise of a wonderful life!

Opie loves to play with his siblings and any other dog that comes his way, he also loves to cuddle up to humans! Opie will be fully vetted, vaccinated and neutered prior to adoption!

If you would like to make Opie part of your family please complete an application here: http://www.rescuecity.nyc/rescue-city-adoption-application/

Please email dana@rescuecity.nyc if you have any questions!

Thank you for choosing to adopt and save a life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Opie, a Brooklyn Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
