Leo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Leo's Story...

Leo is a very energetic and playful puppy. He would play all day if he could and need lots of attention and toys. He sleeps in his crate at night and is crated any time we are not home but is rarely home alone.   He enjoys going to dog parks and day camp but has been placed in time out for pestering dogs when they are done playing. He's pretty much an energizer bunny. He is potty trained and knows basic commands like sit and shake. He does very well with dogs and cats, but should probably living with older kids as he is very hyper and tends to nip like any heeler will do.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Phoenix Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
