Howdy, I'm Maverick! Right now, I’m at the Tehama County Animal Care Center in Red Bluff, CA and I wrote you a poem…. (you didn’t think I had it in me…HUH????)
I'm an adoring, fun-loving, youngish kinda guy…
And, everyone makes me just sooooo happy, I could almost cry …
I'm really quite gentle, and behave very well …
but, if you and I could play… wouldn’t that be swell!
I get along with other dogs, and know my “sit”
and when you get to know me better…I’m quite the wit!
If you become my peeps, I’ll love you till I die…
That’s the truth and and that’s for sure, that’s no lie!
