Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Leandra #16-517. Arrived 9/24/2016 at 2 years old.
Leandra was surrendered to us by her temporary caretaker after a family member left her and didn't come back. Leandra is incredibly sweet and all about getting attention. Leandra walks well on leash, she just needs a little positive assurance that she is the best girl ever. Leandra did come in with a male dog, but does not need to be adopted with him; a meet and greet with another dog would be a necessity. Leandra does show some submissive tendencies and will worry about toys when they are thrown, she just needs to be comfortable that the toys being thrown are for her and not at her. Leandra was in a home where kids ages 4 to 18 were around, her behavior being described as friendly, playful, and tolerant. Leandra was kept as an outside dog, with a doghouse, and she will need adjustment to becoming an indoor dog. Leandra knows sit, down, come, and stay. Leandra has shown sensitivity to fireworks, and she did display her boredom by trying to dig out of the yard.
