Mateo's Story...
Mateo #16-543. Arrived 10/11/2016 at 1 1/2 years old.
Mateo has one of the biggest block heads that we have ever seen! This is a strong boy with power. Mateo will be best in the hands of an owner who will exercise both his body and his mind. Once these are exhausted, then he will be able to concentrate on being calm and relaxed. Mateo is young and at an age where he tests his boundaries. He will benefit from a training class with his owner; one where he will learn the rules of a home and how to manage his exuberance in measured amounts. Mateo is so good-natured that he can be picked up, examined, and have just about anything done to him. Getting him in a crate though.....that's another story. Mateo thinks crates are for babies and he wants more freedom! Come meet Mateo and find the block head of your dreams....

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mateo, a West Babylon Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in West Babylon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in West Babylon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Babylon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Babylon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Babylon paves the way for another one to be saved.
