Riley's Story...
Riley #16-583. Arrived 10/27/2016 at 5 years old.
Riley came in as a stray and he announced himself the moment he walked in. He knew that he was no longer in Kansas.... Riley has now adjusted and quieted down, accepting that he is stuck with us until he finds his forever home. Riley is like a kid who ate chocolate before bed when he gets out on the grass for free time. There is no hiding his complete joy, and he just has to wear himself down before he settles in. Riley is affectionate and even tries to be a lap dog when given the opportunity. Riley came to us knowing sit and shake paw, as well as with the incredible athletic ability to catch treats in the air. Riley is the perfect size in between big and small, and would fit in just perfect.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a West Babylon Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in West Babylon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in West Babylon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Babylon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Babylon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Babylon paves the way for another one to be saved.
