You know what? I'm a rescue dog, I'm lucky to have been found and I'm alive, I'm not perfect, I'm six years old, but, that doesn't mean I don't deserve a home. People bypass me because of my age, because, at one time in my past I broke my leg, big deal, I'm fine, but, that means I'm not any good? I sure hope nobody in your family gets old or breaks a bone and you decide to find them another home.

I could be the best friend you ever have, I would accept you completely, it would not matter if anything happened to you or not, I love UNCONDITIONALLY.

My name is Layla and I'm about 6 years old. I am such a happy girl now that I'm healthy! See, a few months ago someone left me and all 10 of my puppies (all adopted!) abandoned at a vet's office. We were all in horrible shape!

My babies were only about 3 weeks old at the time and we all had mange and I was sooooo skinny! My skin would bleed because I was so itchy! Luckily my foster mom took me and my babies in and got us all well and now I couldn't be happier!

I'm so playful, yet calm. I love to play with other dogs! I'm also great with people and kids. I do like to chase kitties though so no kitties would be best.

I hope you chose me because I would be such a great dog and I'm so ready to find my forever home!

Our standard adoption fee is $450 which covers:
All age appropriate vaccines (3 DHPP vax)
Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vax
Rabies vax if 12 weeks and older
utd on flea/tick prevention
utd on heartworm prevention
spay or neuter of pet
bi-weekly worming
heartworm test @ age 6 months or older
fostering costs
transport and health certificate

We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21.
