Chloe's Story...
COURTESY POST

Dogs name: Chloe
Age: 7-8 years old
Location: Westchester County

She is blind, but does see shadows and light - possible she sees more than that. She is very laid back and a calm dog. She is very sweet, does not bite or nip at all, does not bark and is very well behaved. You can do just about anything to her and she allows it.

She is going to an eye specialist to correctly diagnose her condition and to see if there is any treatment that will improve her vision.

She has had a rough life and has been passed around and overlooked. She needs to feel wanted and that she finally belongs somewhere.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Bronx Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Bronx, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Bronx.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bronx already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bronx breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bronx paves the way for another one to be saved.
