My name is Codi and I once was part of a family who loved me. Sadly, my main caregiver died and there was no one in the family who was in a position to care for me. Having your whole world turned upside is tough and can be a very frightening experience for a dog! Occasionally, I do show a smidgen of attitude and I may appear to be quite aloof and independent. All I want is a little time and understanding. Give me that and once I know you I will greet you with the wagging tail of a very happy dog. An experienced, confident guardian who knows and loves the Shih Tzu personality would be ideal. I get along well with other dogs, although I favour well behaved dogs. I could positively participate in obedience training classes; yes, small dogs do benefit from training. An adult family or one with older, respectful children would best suit me. I am fond of a good long walk – we can go fast or we can go slow, whatever pleases you! I am ready to move on because I know I can have another chance at love? Could you be the one to give me a home where I’ll be loved and cherished for the rest of my life? Please fill in the Adoption Form and make this happen.
