Brinley's Story...
Brinley and brothers Barnaby and Burbank were found with their mother living in a vacant lot in Haledon when FOWA was called to help them before the cold weather starts. Brinley’s most outstanding feature is her super soft luxurious fur. She is very playful and sweet and purrs instantly as soon as she’s picked up—no batteries needed for this purr machine. Although she can let out a meow, her favorite form of communication is her adorable squeak! We estimated they were born June 20, 2016. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and her mother was FELV/FIV negative. If interested in adopting this beauty, apply at www.fowarescue.com and call 973-902-7515.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brinley, a Wayne Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wayne, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wayne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wayne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wayne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wayne paves the way for another one to be saved.
