Champ's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING!!!!

Champ is a darling boy. He is sweet, but that being said, just not the most gentle of dogs. He is a good cuddler but only when he wants to be lol. He loves his long walks and needs them daily. He especially loves to play with his tennis balls and kongs, but is not a good sharer...he will occupy himself all day playing with his favorite toys. He likes to be chased around the yard too! Champ's interest in other dogs has been to sniff them during an intro, and then goes back to his toys. His foster does take him to a local dog park. Older children only due to his size, because he still tends to get a little mouthy with his balls and treats, and that tail of his! Contact for an application is Beth at kaya1227@comcast.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Champ, a Frederick Rottweiler/Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Plott Hound for sale in Frederick, or seeking a Rottweiler/Plott Hound dog from a breeder in Frederick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frederick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frederick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Plott Hound breeders who help with Rottweiler/Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frederick paves the way for another one to be saved.
