My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FRANNY is a young adult, about 3 years old. She was found as a stray and was at a local shelter for a week. She is a smart, intense little dog, who loves to hike, be part of a pack and hang out with adults. She would be great in an adult only home or in a home where she does not feel pressure to be a playmate to kids. She is loyal, and devoted and might be prone to guarding her chosen humans if allowed to do so.

So, this great dog needs to have some boundaries, not be allowed to develop the tendencies of guarding and protection. Other dogs in the home may well help with this because she will feel less like she needs to be in control.

A great companion for experienced dog owners with an active lifestyle.

We do NOT (except in unusual circumstances) adopt beyond a 50 mile radius from the East Bay, so that we can adequately do a home check and follow up.
