Alice's Story...
Meet Alice
Available in New England and the Midwest

Alice is a beautiful young girl. She is about a year old and weighs 50 pounds. She is mostly lab, but may have a touch of collie in her, as her coat is just a little bit longer than that of your typical lab. Alice just had a litter of puppies and took excellent care of them! Now it is her turn to find her forever home. Alice is a sweet, gentle, loving girl and loves taking her treats and laying down to eat them. She gets along great with people and will make an excellent companion. Alice gets along well with other dogs.

Alice is an active girl and would love to have a family that would take her on trips around town, walks in the woods, or play doggie games in the backyard. She walks okay on a leash but would benefit from some obedience training. Alice is a smart cookie and will learn quickly.

Alice is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped and on heartworm/tick preventative. If you are interested in learning more about Alice, go to www.luckylabrescue.com and fill out an application indicating your interest in Alice in the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alice, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
