My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hoosier ! Hoosier is approx 8 mo old and 35lbs. He is expected to be approx 45 lbs a full weight. He looks to be a shep/hound cross. What a loyal combo ! Hoosier is one very deserving puppy. A RRT volunteer was called at approx 9:30 pm. A young couple were enjoying spending time together down a rural dirt road along a river. They were about to leave when 3 emaciated but happily wagging their bodies came running to them. Hoosier was one of these guys. He was skeletal. Hoosier was picked up by the RRT volunteer, taken home, gave him good food, clean water, a warm bed, all of course after a nice bath to erase the dead fish water smell off of him. He went to the vet and checked out healthy other than being starved and having a bloated belly from eating whatever he could find. Hoosier has gained nice weight and is hoping to get into a home ASAP. He has had such a rough life and we are desperate for him to feel the love of a true forever home. Hoosier is a happy boy, can he make your home a happy home ?Please contact Adella at adella@rescueroadtrips.com with any questions.
