We could go on about how much we love wonderful WILSON all day! This boy exudes constantly happiness. His soulful eyes are full of joy, appreciation, curiosity, He is the kind of dog who loves every moment of life. He lives in foster home with a large lab mix and a small, often crabby shih tzu. He gets along terrifically with both of them. WILSON also loves every human he meets. After knowing you for only 5 minutes, he will crawl up in your lap for snuggles if you will allow him. He loves to play in the back yard and curl up close on the bed or couch. He does great in his crate while his foster mom is at work and knows to go potty outside. He is absolutely precious while playing with toys. Watching him is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. As of 11/9/16 he is about 18 months old. He gives you all the fun and a decade plus of memories yet to come that adopting a baby puppy would, BUT he is past the stages of needing to go outside every 2 hours that come with a tiny pup. WILSON's forever family is going to be blessed to call him their own.
WILSON is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
His $450 adoption fee includes his interstate health certificate and transport to New England.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
