I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Kuna's Story...
This happy girl is a 5-year old Hound/Golden Retriever mix weighing in at 48.8 pounds. Kuna is a smart, athletic girl with a LOT of energy -- she's going to need a home with room to run.

She's highly affectionate, but her current exhuberant greeting habit suggests that children in her new family be 13 or above. Bonus if they'll play tuggy with her!

Her hunting dog ancestry shows up when small, chaseable animals are around, but she does well with other dogs.

Up for an adventure? Please call the kennel at (503) 981-2570 to schedule a visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kuna, a Woodburn Hound (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever for sale in Woodburn, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Woodburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
