Maddie's Story...
Poor, poor beautiful Maddie has not had such a great life in her 4 years. She was found running loose and was picked up by animal control. At this point she is EXTREMELY frightened but the rescue coordngator at the shelter reports that she has already made some progress in her short stay. At the very begining, she was reported to be very growly. Now however, she appears to be less tense and with time will be an amazing. loving compnion, someone's best friend! Once she has calmed down a bit more I would love to find a foster for her. The shelter's rescue coordinator feels this girl has great potential so if you are a lover of big dogs and would love to be part of showing this beauty that the world can actually be a good place and that there are loving people in it, and are interested in fostering
or adopting her once she has had time to settle in call us at 484-800-2055 or email us at Mattie will be waiting to hear from you! Won't you be her hero? She will spend the rest of her life paying you back for your love and devotion! Her picture will be posted soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddie, a Ardmore Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Ardmore, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Ardmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ardmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ardmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ardmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
