Max's Story...
Max is a 7 year old Maltese. Feast your eyes on this irresistible face. When Max was rescued he was matted down to his skin. He will require someone to maintain his beautiful coat and not let it get matted ever again. Max is a lover and people pleasure and will shower you with kisses. He is a lap dog and wants to be with his people including going for car rides and walks. He loves to play with his toys and is very smart; he knows sit, stay and lie down. Pottytrained he will do a dance and circle around letting you know he needs to go out. Max loves to run and play in a fenced in yard so a home with a fence is on his wish list. A perfect home will be one that will include in him daily family activities.

To help Max get acclimated to his new home, the adoption fee includes 1 complimentary training session with the rescue’s trainer.

If you would like to make Max a forever member of your family please apply on line at Animal Aid Foundation Adoption and Foster Application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Rochester Hills Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Rochester Hills, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Rochester Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
