Charlie's Info...

Charlie's Story...
Charlie is a lazy goofball. He has spurts of playful energy then he just wants to lay around on the couch or on his bed for hours. If your family is looking for a laid back type of dog, Charlie would be perfect!
He loves his kong chew toy, going for walks, and cuddling. He's great with kids and other dogs. He's an absolute dream in the car! He'll jump right in and lay down for the whole trip.
Charlie would be a great dog for any family.

Charlie came to us with the name "Oldie" but we just can't seem to figure out why since he is only 5 years old, so we renamed him Charlie.
You can follow him on Instagram at #oldieandagoofie

Special Medical Information:
Charlie is Heartworm positive. His adoption includes a six month supply of Heartgard and retest in six months at CPR's expense.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Savannah Labrador Retriever/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Collie for sale in Savannah, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Collie dog from a breeder in Savannah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Savannah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Savannah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Savannah paves the way for another one to be saved.
