Buster Brown's Story...
Buster Brown is getting ready for the Holidays as he hopes to be enjoying life with his new adoptive family. He is approximately 7 years of age and weighs 8 lbs which is a good adult weight for him. Buster has one the sweetest personalities with a very gentle manner. He has a cute trait of raising his right paw as to give you a “high five.” He will also stand on his hind legs and roll his lower legs and paws to get your attention.

Buster came to us from a breeder where he was living in a deplorable environment. He was recently neutered and had dental care. After a month of good nutrition, our rescue became concerned as his hair was not growing on his back, neck, and upper leg. Buster was thoroughly examined at Animal Dermatology Clinic in San Diego. His skin biopsy showed he had a genetic hair loss due to a color dilution from breeding. No treatment is needed for this. About all Buster will need is a sweater on cold days. Now if you are seeking a gentle, loving companion dog, Buster would be great choice.

You can meet BusterSATURDAY, DEC. 3rd at the SANTA PAWS SUPER ADOPTION EVENT at Grossmont Shopping Center from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster Brown, a San Diego Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
