Pickle's Story...
My name is Pickle and I am the teeny tiny fella in this group! I'm just about as small as they get! I only weigh 3.5 pounds and I'm fully grown! I like to be picked up and carried around with delicate hands. I'm a lover, not a fighter and enjoy snuggling with my humans. I am house trained and use the doggy door. I love my dog crate and enjoy burrowing in a big, fluffy blanket so that I feel safe. I do pretty good on a leash, however loud noises scare me a little. I really need a secure fence because of my size and would love it if my people will watch out for big hawks that might mistake me for a rabbit. When rescued, the vet said my liver enzymes were low, so I have medication for a couple of more weeks that are getting my liver enzymes back to where they should be. I am so glad to be rescued and to get that taken care of! I can't wait to cuddle with you. I might be small, but I have a huge heart and would love to find my forever home soon! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pickle, a McKinney Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
