Rocky's Story...
Well, HELLO there!

Rocky is a 7-8-year old, 19.6 pound Jack Russell Terrier. True to his breed, he is smart and energetic. His POOCH handler reports that Rocky learns quickly and is a friendly companion.

He is good with cats and OK with dogs as long as there is a proper introduction. We anticipate that he should do well in in families with children.

Would this little charmer fit that dog-shaped hole in your life? Please call the kennel at (503) 981-2570 to schedule a visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Woodburn Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Woodburn, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Woodburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
