One Spot's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

One Spot's Story...
One Spot, a great family dog, is a beautifully marked boy who is about 12 months old. He has a very laid-back and friendly personality, but also loves to romp and play with other dogs or people until he tires out. He is not a whiner or barker, and is very affectionate with all ages, especially children. He is crate and house-trained, and knows how to use a doggy door. A big bonus for his adopter is that he recently graduated from Basic Commands Training (sit, stay, down, come, heel, off, and no) with a professional trainer at Canine Solutions, a premiere training facility in Lawrenceburg, TN. His ideal home would be where he could get his young energy drained with someone who has an active lifestyle, and can give him the exercise he deserves. One Spot currently lives in a boarding situation, but would love to be an inside family dog where he could be with those he loves. His adoption fee is $120. (LVz)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

One Spot, a Pulaski Australian Cattle Dog/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Pointer for sale in Pulaski, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Pointer dog from a breeder in Pulaski.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pulaski already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pulaski breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Pointer breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pulaski paves the way for another one to be saved.
