Bunny's Story...
Meet Bunny! She's a beautiful shiny white Maltese/Chihuahua mix. Bunny is between 3-4 years old. Her favorite thing to do is lay on your lap and be held. She's a feisty little girl that loves to play also. She's a little unsure of strangers, but warms up quickly once she knows they are ok. Bunny is housetrained and walks well on a leash. She does ok with other dogs after she's had time to warm up to them. Bunny would do best in a home with either no children, or older children. If you would like to adopt her, apply today at www.livingstonspca.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bunny, a Walker Maltese/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Chihuahua for sale in Walker, or seeking a Maltese/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Walker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Chihuahua breeders who help with Maltese/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walker paves the way for another one to be saved.
