Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This boy is so sweet, it breaks your heart! He does not have a mean or aggressive bone in his body and he should be the poster dog for the Pit Bull breed (even though he's mixed!).
We rescued Max from being put down at the city shelter because his time there had run out. He is absolutely fabulous with other animals-- dogs AND cats --and is a big scaredy cat himself. He's submissive, very, very affectionate, and LOVES to cuddle. Our guess is that he was not treated very well in his former life because he tends to be hand shy and initially very nervous around strangers (particularly men). He warms up quickly however and is never aggressive in any way. He also is not a big barker and listens quite well.
He is about 2 1/2 years old and weighs about 43 pounds. We are looking for someone as special as Max to give him a permanent, loving home where he will never have to be frightened of the world again. He would love a home with another dog to play with (he loves to play and prefers to have companionship as much as possible).
Max is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Adoption fee is $175.
