Chewie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Chewie's Story...
Chewie doesn't have a big red Bozo nose but we can tell you, he is a clown! Chewie is silly and funny and wonderful. Just being around Chewie makes you smile. He takes life as it comes and just rolls with it. If there are no other dogs willing to play with him at the moment, he will grab a ball and play by himself, tossing the ball in the air and then chasing after it! Chewie is housebroken and leash trained though he does still pull the leash.

Chewie is a 1 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix. He weighs about 73 pounds. Chewie's adoption fee is $200.00. If you are interested in adopting Chewie, please complete the adoption application at http://www.secondchancedogrescueofiowa.com/adoption-app.html Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chewie, a Prole Treeing Walker Coonhound/Redtick Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound/Redtick Coonhound for sale in Prole, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound/Redtick Coonhound dog from a breeder in Prole.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Prole already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Prole breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound/Redtick Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound/Redtick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Prole paves the way for another one to be saved.
