Izzy (de-clawed in front)'s Story...
De clawed in front
I have to open my big mouth and let everyone know how happy I am to be here at the Blue Moon Cat Sanctuary.   I also have to let everyone know that my name used to be Isabelle until I went to the vet to be spayed.  OOOPS.  I’m I boy.  Hey…mistakes happen.  But being a boy instead of a girl makes me naturally more affectionate, laid-back, calm and reserved.  If you love the orange and white cats, you know we have the reputation of being the most loyal, affectionate lap cats out there.  I’m about 6 years old, current with my rabies shot, flea treatment, de worming and FVRCP vaccination.  Just for some extra frosting on your cake, I’m also front de clawed.
My adoption fee is only $60 if you call 479-677-3021 or 479-312-6858.
Other cats?  Yes.
Children?  Older ones are best.
Dogs?  Been around them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Izzy (de-clawed in front), a Witter Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Witter, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Witter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Witter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Witter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Witter paves the way for another one to be saved.
