Luna's Info...

Luna's Story...
Luna Belle is a happy, affectionate, white female German Shepherd dog who is about 14 months old. Her owner fell on hard times and asked if we could take her and are we glad we did. Luna Belle’s list of talents is long and include being a great kisser, focused ball fetcher, warm snuggler and fabulous adventure partner! She loves playing with her two large foster siblings; we don’t know how she would be with cats. She has captured the hearts of all the volunteers who know her. Luna will melt the heart of anyone who meets her and would be great for an active family looking to add a loving companion to their lives.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Walnut Creek German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Walnut Creek, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Walnut Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walnut Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walnut Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walnut Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
