Bimbo's Story...
Bimbo entered our facility on October 20, 2016. His owner had previously visited our shelter and stated she was making arrangements to take care of him because she could no longer keep in that she was ill. She agreed to foster till we could find his home, but sadly, she passed away and her friends held Bimbo till we could get him in.
Bimbo weighs 14.6 lbs as of 10/20/2016. He is use to being in a house, plays really well with other dogs and is house trained! Bimbo loves to be petted!
***All of our dogs are located at our parent organization, Wynne Friends of Animals, in Arkansas. We do provide transport to Griswold and Glastonbury CT. These are your locations for picking up your new family member. The adoption fee of $425.00 includes the cost of transport, spay/neuter, vaccinations, micro-chip and one month supply of heartworm preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bimbo, a Jewett City Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Jewett City, or seeking a Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Jewett City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jewett City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jewett City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jewett City paves the way for another one to be saved.
