Facts about Misty

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 2592R
  • Hair: Short
Misty was returned to us due to an allergy on the part of a child in the home. Around six years old, Misty is a gorgeous tabby who, unfortunately, just had to have all of her teeth pulled due to a condition called stomatitis. She has recovered nicely and will now do well for the rest of her life and never need a dentistry!! This is one gentle and lovely cat who enjoys a quiet lap and a home where she will be treated as the treasure she is. We had this girl as a tiny kitten, so we are especially devoted to her and hoping that she will find the perfect home soon!

About Peninsula Friends of Animals

About Our Shelter...

Peninsula Friends of Animals is a cageless, no-kill, non profit animal welfare group serving the community since 2000. Our mission is to prevent the birth of unwanted cats and dogs through progressive spay/neuter and educational programs, and to place as many homeless, neglected or abused animals as possible in safe, loving, permanent homes.

Our Adoption Process...

Prospective adopters meet with our Shelter Manager to determine an appropriate match for our animals. The adopters sign an adoption contract that identifies the condition of the animal, approximate age, any health issues, and conditions of adoption (e.g. indoor only, no declawing, etc). Adoption fee is $85.00.

PFOA prefers to adopt to homes on the North Olympic Peninsula, but we do make (lots of) exceptions. Please call (360) 452-0414 to learn more about this kitty. A staff member will return your call.

All PFOA animals are vet-checked, current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and combo tested for FIV / FeLV.
