My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Liyah is an adult doby-hound mix (~2 yrs old) who is incredibly snugly, leash trained, and good with other dogs. (In fact, we think she'd do best with another dog in the home!) Because Liyah is nervous around new surroundings and strangers, she needs a patient and experienced adopter to gain her trust and show her how wonderful life can be. In return, she'll be your loyal companion and fill your world with smiles.

This little girl is highly intelligent, eager to please, and has a super silly side. She also gives amazing hugs, pressing her nose into your neck while you wrap your arms around her. (Her foster mom says she's never seen anything like it before!) There's nothing Liyah wants more in the world than a best friend.

Liyah is available to be met at our Southbury, CT adoption center upon approval of your application.

This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms and also has been examined by a CT vet in compliance with HB 5368. The adoption fee is $400.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
