Abby's Story...
Meet Abby! This adorable little peanut has found herself home shopping during the Holiday Season instead of filling her wish list with fun toys and treats. Abby came to WDR with Mina after circumstances at home changed and they were no longer able to be cared for. Abby is about 6 years old and has a short wish list for her new home. She is looking for a loving family, a lap to snuggle on, some yummy food to fill her tummy and place where she no longer has to wonder "what's next?". Abby will do best in a home with older children or no children at all. If she can find a home that would like her and Mina, she would be over the moon happy! These two girls deserve the best his Holiday Season, maybe that's with you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Fennville Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Fennville, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fennville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fennville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fennville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fennville paves the way for another one to be saved.
