Facts about Blossom

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: AG
  • Hair: Short
My name is Blossom, and I am a very sweet, angel-faced and beautiful brown tabby girl who was born about October 2011. Just look at my big, saucer eyes! I am really lucky to be here as I was at a kill-shelter, and my time was almost up, but luckily my Buster's Friends' foster meowmy saved me.
I'm a little overwhelmed and even a little frightened with all the other kitties and little dogs in my foster home, so in defense, I've become a little shy and submissive (but never aggressive). Because I am sensitive and a little older, it just takes me a little longer to adjust to all the chaos that sometimes rules in my foster home. I would probably do best in a quieter home with no noisy children and as an only cat, if possible.
Since I'm still young but not a tiny, cute kitten any more, I expect it to take longer for someone to see my potential. I am a sweet girl and am really looking for a best friend who's long on patience -- someone who will love me and see what a purrfectly delightful companion I am once I get adjusted to my new 'digs.'
I have a lot of love to give to the right person who will shower me with attention and TLC and who will help me trust and gain more confidence. Won't you give me a chance? I promise to pay you back by whispering sweet purr-things in your ear.
Blossom is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Blossom, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.

About Buster's Friends

About Our Rescue Group...

Buster’s Friends was created in memory of Jennifer Fields. Jennifer spent countless hours rescuing and fostering hundreds of Houston’s homeless animals prior to losing her battle to cancer in May 2009. As a tribute to Jennifer and her dedication, we named the group after her beloved dog Buster, who made the journey to the Rainbow Bridge in August 2008.
