Stella's Story...
1 ½ years old
STELLLLAAA. Sweet Stella has been adopted and returned to our shelter a few times all for the same reason, she is a bundle of energy. Her previous owner did let us know that she has been housebroken, playful with other dogs and loves children but can be a little too rambunctious for little guys. Stella is a blast to have around and would be the perfect fit for an active family who can wear out that puppy energy and work with her on basic manners. She will need to get started on a training class so she can be the best dog for her next forever family. Stella is sure to liven things up a bit and she can’t wait to meet her new forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Fruit Heights Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fruit Heights, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fruit Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fruit Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fruit Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fruit Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
