Meet Steph! If you want some 4-legged love in your life, she’s the gal!

Steph came all the way to Evanston from San Antonio, Texas hoping to find her forever home. Although she doesn’t look like a purebred lab, she sure acts like one! She is playful and loves all other dogs and people. She can be shy at first, but warms up quickly and adjusts to new situations easily. Steph currently weighs just under 30 pounds, and is about 9 months old.

Steph’s foster mom tells us: "Steph is the sweetest, best dog ever. I would keep her if I could--she is like a move-in ready house! She plays nicely with our Lab and Border Collie and loves running around our yard, chasing them. She loves to play fetch; she plays with my kids and also does great at the dog park and beach. She is smart, this one! It took only a few days to learn our routine and how to use the doggy door. She fit right into our world, giving all of us--humans and dogs-- lots of love. Oh, did I mention that Steph is almost fully house trained, and sleeps all night in her doggy bed?
She will be a great dog for any family. We love her~!”

Steph’s adoption fee of $325 includes: vet exam, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, rabies vaccination, routine deworming, flea/tick preventative, heartworm preventative, heartworm test (negative), microchip and spay.
