Rosco's Story...
Please submit applications at www.sophiedogrescue.org - read entire description to see if this dog is for you!

Roscoe was turned into our rescue when his owners no longer wanted him. He is a sensitive boy who doesn't understand where his family has gone. Currently fostered with kids, cats and other dogs he does best with small dogs as large dogs scare him. We were told that he is a mix of a rat terrier and a miniature pincher. At 12 pounds he is fully grown. He is crate trained, housebroken (almost) and loves loves loves attention! His adoption fee is $325 and includes neuter, microchip, vaccinations for age, deworming, health certificate (out of state adoptions) and is current on flea/heart worm medications. Please fill out an application at www.sophiedogrescue.org if you are interested in bringing him into your home. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosco, a Cincinnati Rat Terrier/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
