I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Sheba's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sheba's Story...
I'm a sweet girl who has a lot of love to give. So much so that I get a little nervous when you leave me. My foster mom has figured out a routine that works for me and it's really not that hard to make me content. If you've got some experience with dogs with a bit of separation anxiety, understand that I require medication daily, and are willing to work with me and a trainer (this will be a requirement to be fulfilled by any approved adopter) then maybe we should meet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheba, a Chesapeake Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Chesapeake, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Chesapeake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chesapeake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chesapeake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chesapeake paves the way for another one to be saved.
