Abe's Story...
Abe is traveling to Wisconsin on December 4th and has a meet and greet pending!

Hello! My name is Abe. I'm super sweet and love to snuggle and give kisses. I'm still a puppy, so I am working on potty training and walking on a leash, but I seem to learn things quickly when treats are involved. I love playing with toys and most of all my foster sister who is about the same size. I've met many new friends and go up to greet them all without hesitation. I'm so good in my kennel at night, after all it's so much better than sleeping on the street. So glad I walked up to that nail salon to be rescued. Now I am looking for my furever home!
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a home visit and a meet and greet.
Please note that preference will be given to Wisconsin adoptions, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abe, a Fort Atkinson Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Fort Atkinson, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Atkinson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Atkinson paves the way for another one to be saved.
