Hola Amigos... I'm Clifford, a red happy dog! I was brought here from Mexico to have a better life by a people that decided that they could not help me after all. :( Lucky for me I was able to find a great foster mom to help keep me safe until I am able to find my own forever family! The good folks of Chi Town Rescue said they would dress me up and take my pic and help me find the American Dream that every dog wants...a family of my own to love me forever! I am a Male 1 Year Old Lab Mix and weigh around 40-45 lbs. I am just a big ole puppy who loves to puppy pounce and play with other dogs. I do have a lot of energy but that is because I am happy all the time. I like to take walks and explore and I am still so curious about everything around me. I am told I would be an excellent hiking buddy and will lead you to many grand adventures. I love people and get along with other dogs as long as they can handle all my happy energy. :)

About Chi Town Rescue

About Our Shelter...

"Chi Town" is short for "Chihuahua Town," which is our nick-name because we found that the majority of animals we were rescuing happened to be Chihuahuas and literally have a little “town” comprised of Chihuahuas! Chihuahuas are one of the most over-bred dogs in Arizona and unfortunately many end up in need of rescue. However, we are not limited to saving just Chihuahas, we do save other breeds dependent on availability of space. Chi Town also specializes in rescuing dogs who require a little extra TLC and are at risk of euthanasia at county shelters. These dogs may not be doing well for a variety of reasons- fear, fear aggression, anxiety, or a medical issue to name a few. These are the dogs that typically have no other outlet and for which time is of the essence . After our dogs are medically cleared and/or their behavioral issues have improved, they are available for adoption.

Please be aware that we do our very best to answer all questions in a timely manner.

We are always seeking to help promote these special Chihuahuas who are too often overlooked in AZ shelters due to the sheer volume of this breed. Please share and like us on Facebook:
