Tinkerbelle's Story...
Tinkerbell is fostered in Austin TX through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org. Tinkerbelle's picture will be coming soon! Tinkerbell is a 12yr old, 8lb. yorkie who came to United Yorkie Rescue in October 2016. She's housetrained and barks minimally, only when she needs food or to be let out. She loves to socialize once she warms up to someone, but is also great being independent. Tinkerbell loves to explore and go on walks. For her size and personality, she would do best in a home without children, a fenced yard would be preferred but may not be required based on the situation. As she's new to rescue, please check back for more information over time as we learn her personality. Or, for more information on this sweetie, contact her foster mamma through the inquiry link or complete an application through United Yorkie Rescue at http://unitedyorkierescue.org/?page_id=33

Tinkerbelle, a Austin Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
