MEET JASMINE!! **Please Note: This is a courtesy post for another rescue; different adoption fees/policy apply.

Hi, my name is Jasmine! What's your name? Do you want to play? Or go for a walk? I love going for walks. I behave very well on the leash and love to get out of the house. However, I do get nervous if there are other dogs or cats around. We don't tend to get along very well.

I am very good with people, but I do best as the only dog. I can get protective of my food and space because other dogs can be a bit scary. I would love to go to training to help with my fear and I'm willing to work really hard. I've learned to play fetch and many other tricks, but I'm eager to learn more. Would you be willing to teach me?

I also can jump really high, so I need a closed-in backyard with a high fence. I sometimes like to roam around the neighborhood, but I'm trying to be better. Other than that, I love being pet and getting lots of attention. I am very nice and will be the best dog I can be.

About Underdog Rescue of Arizona

About Our Rescue Group...

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.
