Owen's Story...
This is OWEN... a 3 year old dachshund boy who just got surrendered to us. His mom wasn't able to care for him anymore and heartbroken did she bring Owen to us.
He is a very sweet little guy, weighs 12 lbs and is wonderful with people, dogs, cats and children.
He is housebroken and it is surprising how much personality first in this little body.
OWEN is looking for his new family now.

If you would like to meet Owen, plese send us a message in order to receive an application. DO not fill out an application online.
We are only able to meet with pre approved adopters as our organization is operating on foster homes only. We do not have a shelter available to the public.

His adoption fee is $ 350 which includes all his vaccines, heartworm test, neuter and micro chip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Owen, a Lawrenceville Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Lawrenceville, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Lawrenceville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lawrenceville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lawrenceville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lawrenceville paves the way for another one to be saved.
